This cutter suction dredger adopts non-propelled hydraulic design, with a total length of 39 meters and width of 7.5 meters. It is powered by a Cummins KTA38-M2 main engine (895KW) and NT855-M auxiliary engine (298KW), with total installed power up to 1193KW. Equipped with a high-efficiency dredge pump, the dredger reaches a water flow of 3000m³/h and solid output of 450–600m³/h, ensuring strong dredge capacity and continuous dredging efficiency. The maximum dredging depth is 16 meters, minimum dredging depth 1.4 meters, discharge distance up to 2000 meters, and slurry concentration 15–20%, meeting diverse dredging requirements under different working conditions.
The core component of this sand dredger is the heavy-duty cutter head with a diameter of 1700mm, equipped with 40 high-strength cutter teeth and 5 blades. It can effectively loosen hard sediment, compact sand and gravel layers, turning them into pumpable slurry for efficient dredge extraction. The hydraulic system adopts high-quality components from China and Japan, driving 6 sets of hydraulic motors to stably control the cutter head, ladder lifting winch and swing winches. The ladder lifting winch provides 100KN pulling force, and two swing winches ensure flexible position adjustment during dredging, making the cutter suction dredger operate smoothly and safely.
The hull of this dredger uses high-strength marine steel plates, with the bottom plate up to 12mm thick and front/rear plates 18mm thick, ensuring strong structural rigidity and impact resistance. The whole vessel is coated with 3–4 layers of marine anti-corrosion paint and equipped with zinc anodes for cathodic protection, greatly extending service life in seawater and harsh environments. The sand dredger is also equipped with a comfortable operation cabin with Siemens PLC control system, allowing centralized control of all dredging actions, real-time monitoring of dredge parameters, and clear operation warnings, reducing labor intensity and improving safety.
In terms of supporting systems, this cutter suction dredger is equipped with a 30KW generator set, 50KN deck crane, 2 sets of 21m positioning spuds with carriage, anchor booms, anchors and complete firefighting and lifesaving equipment. It also includes fuel tanks, ballast tanks, storage room, signal mast, ventilation system and night working lights, fully meeting long-term continuous dredging needs. A full set of maintenance tools and wearing parts are provided as standard, making daily maintenance and quick repair convenient, ensuring stable and long-term operation of the dredger.
