Excavator Pontoon/Backhoe Dredger/Excavator Platform
Excavator pontoon/dredger is also a backhoe dredger which is a platform for excavator to work on it. There are three spuds for positioning. Excavator dredger is widely used in offshore area.
Floating platform/pontoon refers to a platform that is floating on the water surface and can withstand a certain weight of objects. Excavator pontoon can be used as a floating dock to dock small and medium-sized boats, except for large cargo docks that require cranes; The excavator platform can also serve as an auxiliary tool for maintaining or repairing ships, dredger, and other watercraft; backhoe dredger can also assist in the implementation of water work projects and build floating pontoons to assist other mechanical equipment operations.
Floating pontoon supports excavators in stable and safe operation on floating bridge decks over rivers/lakes/ports/oceans, enabling backhoe dredging in water.
It is a specially designed feature to support excavators in working underwater during dredging projects in hard layers, where conventional dredging vessels often struggle.

We have built 110 tons excavator pontoons for our clients in Europe. The floating pontoon/ platform is with dimension of length 28m x width 12m x height 2.5m. The excavator platform/ pontoons are with hydraulic lifting system of spuds. The floating pontoons/platforms can hold a bachhoe excavator dredger.
Backhoe dredger is a floating pontoon installed on ships or barges, which is used to dredge the seabed, allowing large vessels to navigate on rivers. Backhoe dredgers are just one of the engineering vessels that complete dredging tasks. This type of dredger is very similar to the backhoe excavator used on land, and can be manufactured by installing excavators on platforms or pontoons. However, backhoe dredgers are generally large because the excavator dredger needs to reach deep river channels.
The work area is suitable for the construction of river/lake/port dredging projects.
The function is to support excavators and cranes to work in river areas with a load capacity of 300 tons, and can transport heavy equipment/trucks/steel/project goods/passengers for short distance transportation. Three hydraulic positioning piles can be installed in backhoe dredger, and the positions of the three positioning piles can be effectively selected, making installation more convenient and making the ship more stable after installation.
