New introduction
Pacific Shipbuilding Vietnam launched a 6,500 m³ cutter suction dredger (CSD) and laid the keel for the second vessel of the same series.
A total of 10 sand suction dredgers are planned for construction in this series, focusing on high efficiency and adaptability to complex operating conditions, targeting the global dredging and infrastructure construction market.
China dredger introduction
The sea dredger mud dredger of steel construction,the non self-propelled or self-propelled,dis-mountable type,is able to berth and dredge at any waters both in the coastal area and inland rivers.
The cutter suction dredger is powered by diesel engines.The main diesel engine is to drive the dredge pump and the auxiliary engine is to drive hydraulic system,including cutter,swing and ladder winches,anchor winches and the spud cylinders etc.
