The pulsating sluice box is the "efficiency champion" in gold mining equipment. Through the combination of water flow and mechanical vibration, it efficiently separates heavy minerals such as gold, and is particularly suitable for processing fine-grained ores.

Working Principle:

1.Water Stratification:The slurry flows in from the high end of the sluice, the water flow carrying the ore, causing heavy minerals (such as gold) to settle to the bottom, while light minerals (such as quartz) float to the top.

2.Enhanced Pulsation:The rubber plate at the bottom periodically pulsates, breaking up particle adhesion and allowing heavy minerals to settle more tightly, while preventing clogging.

3.Concentrate Collection:Heavy minerals are concentrated at the bottom and periodically washed and collected; light minerals are discharged with the water flow.

The maintenance of a chute is actually quite simple. Remember these points to make it more durable:

I. Daily Inspection

1. Rubber Inspection: When cleaning the pulsating sluice box, pay special attention to whether the rubber is worn or punctured, and whether there is any leakage at the bottom. Small damage can be temporarily patched with a bicycle inner tube; severely damaged parts should be replaced directly.

2. Welds and Screws: Check whether the welds are broken, and whether the connecting rods and lead screws are loose. Repair or tighten them in time.

II. Operational Precautions

Do Not Step On: Do not walk on the pulsating sluice box surface or place heavy or sharp objects on it.

Avoid Corrosion: Do not allow grease, alkaline or acidic substances to come into contact with the rubber. 

III. Long-Term Storage

Prevent Weathering: When not in use for a long time, place some sand in the chute to protect the rubber.

IV. Lubrication Maintenance

Grease: Check and apply every 15 days.

Gear Oil: Check the gear oil in the reducer every 3 months.
