Introduction of split hopper barge

The split hopper barge/mud barge/self propelled barge/dredging barge/transportation barge cargo hold consists of two identical halves. These halves merge during loading, and during transport, the hull can be split down the middle using hydraulic cylinders and a robotic arm. Upon arrival at the unloading location, seawater flows through the split hull into the hold, using the buoyancy of the water to dump the cargo directly into the water without the need for additional equipment or manual excavation.

Split hopper barge/mud barge is a versatile dredger designed for high efficiency in river, lake, and sea dredging. It features a portable hull structure, customizable options. Split hopper barge refers to vessel with no enclosed structure on the upper part of the hull, only an upper structure, and no enclosed deck.

This dredging barge is suitable for various types and purposes of goods, and can be used to transport large objects, building materials, equipment, containers, and other goods. Suitable for applications like sediment cleanup, coastal reclamation, and slurry transport, it ensures reliable performance with spare parts availability and thorough pre-delivery testing.
