4. Woring Principle
The working principle of a cutter suction dredger is as follows:
1. Positioning and Anchoring: The dredger is fixed in the working position by spuds and anchor winches to ensure hull stability.
2. Cutting and Excavation: The rotating cutter head breaks up underwater materials such as mud, sand, and rocks, and sucks them in through the suction port.
3. Transport and Discharge: The mud mixture is transported to designated areas, such as reclamation sites or treatment facilities, via a suction pump and pipeline.
4. Movement: The hull is propelled by the alternating forward movement of the spuds, while the cutter head is swung laterally using side cables.

1.The Cutter Suction Dredger of steel construction , the non self-propelled, dismountable type, is able to berth and dredge at any waters both in the coastal area and inland rivers.
It can also be designed to self-propelled according to customers’ requirement.
2.Its hull consists of a main pontoon and two side pontoons which is to be easy to dismantle for transportation by road, rail or water, and is be easy to reassemble at project site. The engines and dredge pump are located in the center pontoon. Two side pontoons serve as fuel bunkers, ballast tanks and storage tanks.
3. The dredger is powered by diesel engines. The main diesel engine drive the dredge pump and the auxiliary engine is to drive hydraulic system, including cutter,swing and ladder winches,anchor winches and the spud rams etc.
