Work boat is engineered and built to offer service for cutter suction dredgers.It is able to tow the dredger,lift the pump casing and cutter head.The work boat can also lift the components that tug boat or crew cannot do.This makes them suitable for other jobs too,such as lifting pipelines from the water or shifting anchors.The work boat(multi-cat boat) can also transport the diesel,dredger crews and daily used goods from the bank to the dredger. It can also help the dredger with the function of anchorage.
